Best Time to Travel to Spring Training Question

Hi all,

Had a friend tell me it's not ideal to go to spring training towards then end of the schedule as some players leave for home (CA) early.  Is this true?  I was thinking of going March 22-24, with the 24th being the last scheduled game before the freeway series at Dodger Stadium.  Thoughts?  Better to go earlier in March to see everyone there?  I haven't gone to spring training ever so any advice is greatly appreciated in advance!

The last two games in Arizona, very few of the regular big leaguers will be playing. They have a workout at Angel Stadium the day before the Freeway Series, and the day before that they are mostly driving or flying back to SoCal.

Usually the second weekend of March is the best in my experience. 

A bunch of us from the website will be there March 9-11.
