  1. Hey gang, Not a regular poster here but I follow these threads pretty regularly and love the group here. I started a great father/son tradition last year of a pilgrimage to spring training with my son and am doing the same this year. Going 3/14-3/17 and can't wait! Excited for the 2019 season. Bought tickets for our first game on 3/15 v Dbacks on SeatGeek for a fairly decent price but want to get really good seats for the Clev game on 3/16 and cant seem to find a respectable price anywhere. Is there an "insiders" group where people can buy tickets from other fans I may not be aware of? I'd love any insight this group of pros could provide for a newbie. Thank you all in advance and I appreciate your great posts and conversation. Bill
  2. Thank you everyone for the great advice. We are going the 10-13. Much appreciated and safe travels!
  3. Hi all, Had a friend tell me it's not ideal to go to spring training towards then end of the schedule as some players leave for home (CA) early. Is this true? I was thinking of going March 22-24, with the 24th being the last scheduled game before the freeway series at Dodger Stadium. Thoughts? Better to go earlier in March to see everyone there? I haven't gone to spring training ever so any advice is greatly appreciated in advance! Bill
  4. Thank you all so very much for the amazing advice! I've never tried AirBnB but it sounds like that might be the way to go. This is truly a great community with good people and I sincerely appreciate you all taking the time to share with me your advice and experiences. Go Angels!
  5. Hi all, Brand new to the board and thank you in advance for having me. Knowing full well that this topic has probably been covered ad nauseum, I'll ask anyway. I want to take my son to spring training this season and was wondering if anyone could direct me to a thread (or provide advice) on the best place(s) to stay, days to go, places to see players, etc. It's a father/son bonding trip so I really want to put in my due diligence for my son's experience. Any insight would be greatly apprecaited and again many apologies for any redundancy. Bill Bauwens
  6. Hi, My name is Bill and I'm brand new to this forum. I've been an Angels fan my entire life. My grandmother's sister worked at the Big A in the early seventies to the late nineties in one of the concession stands and she regularly brought all of us to games. Her husband also used to be responsible for releasing doves during some of the games (he did the same thing at Disneyland). Very happy to be here and thanks for having me. My son and wife got luck below for a Trout selfie... Can't wait for this season!
