Andrelton Simmons (back) remained out of the Angels' lineup Friday.

Simmons had been planning to return to action Friday after missing a few days with a tight back. Hopefully this is just the Angels being extra cautious and not any sort of setback. The club should have more on the shortstop's status later Friday.

On the flip side..I think Espinosa will be the focus point of much derision around here. Scioscia will keep him in the lineup for months while he hovers around the Mendoza line. It's the end of ST and he has no clue what's coming.
