Notables:

 

Mike Trout, Yunel Escobar, Albert Pujols, Rafael Ortega, Daniel Nava, Carlos Perez and Giavotella all have more walks than strikeouts. Nava has 8 vs. 2, Trout 6 vs. 1 and Escobar has 5 walks and no strikeouts, hitting .486. Perfect leadoff hitter. Marte has looked good. I wonder if we keep him for the opening day roster? Baldoquin, Ortega, Bandy and Buss have both been very impressive. 

 

Street, Morin, Rasmus, Mahle & Achter have all been impressive out of the pen. Santiago and Heaney have been very good. I like Santiago's strikeouts per innings pitched ratio and while Bedrock got off to a bad start, he's been great of late, striking out 13 over 8 2/3 innings.

I would love it if Bedrosian could put it all together. He has great stuff. And I love the depth we might have in the minors in case of injury. Last year's replacements were brutal

If you ever get the chance to meet him in person, you'd realize how correct that statement is. That guy is stacked. Not saying he's a major leaguer or anything about him as a player so don't let this create any hype. Just saying that kid is strong.

Wow. Coming into this game the Angels as a team have a spring leading 32 walks vs. 20 strikeouts.
