Eppler and his staff's ability to pull rabbits out of their hats is gonna be critical.  Is Choi the next Yangervis Solarte or is he the next Marc Krauss?  

 

Pretty much every interview I've seen of Eppler, he mentions something about finding help from the acquisition of minor league free agents or unprotected players.  If this turns out to be a reproducible skill for him and his team, then that is so very huge.  Not just from a pure on field production standpoint but in creating org currency out of nowhere.  

 

Can't say that I have any feeling about Choi one way or another other than to say that his addition seems like a solid move on paper.
