It doesn't take doctorate to understand. I am not making excuses. The blown save hurt and ultimately it was the difference between Houston and us. No more to add to it. Don't over analyze it.

Luke Gregerson had 6 blown saves this season. Street had 5 so I don't understand your point. Houston was the better team this season in runs scored and ERA.

The 10 -19 August and letting Houston blow right past us had a lot more to do with losing the wild card race than a blown save. Houston was just a better and more balanced team.
