Agreed on SFA, as they are tough to play with their defense.

 

LB won't make it through Waco in the first round.   Baylor is a top 50 team that routed Kansas earlier this season and barely lost to top 25 Okla St. recently.

BYU is pretty awful this year.  Way too soft.  The caveat with the NIT is that they play UW at home.  If they win they will play either Tenn or Mercer at home because even though Tenn is the #2 seed they are hosting the women's NCAA tourney so they will automatically play on the road. 

 

Still trying to get excited for the game........not the same excitement as the tourney but I will be there.

SS, is there a chance all your kids can play for BYU at the same time in about 15 years?

if they go co-ed, yes.  The girls will probably be better than boys though.  Tougher for sure.

Unfortunately, the last time LB hosted an NIT game was 1980, and that was at the ACC against Pepperdine.

All seven NIT games since then have been on the road.

The Pepperdine game and the 1990 first round game at ASU are the only NIT games that LB has ever won.

It also helps that calipari has 6 of the top 20 recruits coming in and might still add the number 1 overall recruit.
