whoa...big time loss. No Granderson or Tex until (at least) May, combined with no Swisher or A-Rod...this team is gonna bea hurting this year. Only getting older too. Crazy to think that if there is any truth to the Cano/Granderson PED tweet earlier this week then the Yanks will be dealing with suspensions on top of injuries.

 

Then again, its not like Tex shows up until May/June anyways. Guy always starts slow.

Their lineup is in shambles. Add in they have Jeter who is another year older and coming off his broken ankle, Youkilis who had various ailments over the last few years and Hafner as well. Right now their lineup looks like Cano and then a bunch of old crap or just flatout crap(Cervelli/Stewart as their Catcher)

If their starting pitching can stay healthy I like Toronto. They have the best rotation IMO (when healhty)..they look to have a kick @ss offense. I think it will come down to Tampa Bay and Toronto with Toronto eventually winning the AL East.

If he was going somewhere where he had a better shot at playing time, I think Wells would waive his no trade clause.

 

But it's pretty irrelevant at this point, since they would have to find someone who actually wants to pay him money in order to do that.
