14-34 against Cheaters, A’s, M’s, and Rays

48-27 against everyone else, which includes 3-3 against the Red Sux and Dogs, 4-3 against the Jays, and 2-2 against the Skanks.

Seems like they always have trouble in recent years with the Cheaters, A’s, M’s, and Rays.

It’s in their heads?   What else is it?

They've been getting their ass kicked by the Astros and A's for years and years. Until that changes a playoff berth is hard to imagine

And the Rays, who they have a piss poor record against in the past few seasons.  Meanwhile, the M’s are 6-1 against the Rays.

A 48 game sample is much larger than a 17 game sample.

Add them all together and it's 23-42.

If you look at each game, I would guess that you could link most of those loses to a small group of pitchers.

Angels definitely have had a hard time against the Athletics. If I remember correctly, they have played four series this season. They've lost three of those series and split the one in Oakland with two wins. Trout has had great numbers against the A's. They might have won a couple of those series if he was playing.
