AngelsWin.com Interviews Hall of Famer and Angels Legend Rod Carew

Recommended Posts

@Tank and I enjoyed a wonderful, hour-long conversation with Angels legend and Hall of Famer Rod Carew yesterday to discuss some of the highlights of his playing career, some thoughts on current Angels and modern-day baseball, and further reflections from some of the most challenging and uplifting moments of his life.

Mr. Carew's latest book, an autobiography titled 'One Tough Out', (Amazon, Barnes & Noble), is now available for purchase in hard-copy, paperback, and Kindle, and having gone cover-to-cover with in this past week, I personally cannot recommend it enough. While the on-the-field anecdotes and analysis demonstrate what a force Rod was on the field, the story of his life is one of the more inspirational reads out there - required reading for any human, in my opinion, on how to handle grief and find light in the darkest times.

Rod is also active with the American Heart Association and with his own Heart of 29 Campaign, and has recently joined Twitter - give him a follow!

Thanks to @Chuckster70 and Rod's team (Devon, Shaye, and Sinan) for putting this opportunity together for all to enjoy.
