Angels roster moves..

Angels reassigned OF Eric Young Jr., OF Shane Robinson, RHP Jose Valdez, RHP Deolis Guerra, INF Rey Navarro, and C Tony Sanchez to minor league camp.

Surprise that Guerra is not on the Opening Day roster. He pitched well last season.

Valdez was looking good, and then struggled recently.

Guerra and Valdez both aren't on the 40. No sense adding them now to risk losing either in a roster crunch two weeks down the line. 

SLC not looking too terrible this year. It will actually look like a AAA team; couple vets, 40-man filler, and a few guys who are 'prospects' if you squint (Meyer, Banuelos, etc.)
