Anyone in the Market for a Competitive Fantasy Baseball Keeper League?

Hey guys - 

 

I am recruiting to fill three openings in a fantasy baseball league.

 

It's a 12-team head to head league where each manager gets to keep four players from one season to the next.  I'm attaching a flyer that explains the rules, and also a summary of the three teams that are available to be taken over.  Of the three, "Team Cruz" has the best keepers (Nelson Cruz in the 14th round is particularly good).  "Team Bogaerts" also has good keepers, but more importantly is a lottery-eligible team, meaning you'd have a one-in-six shot at the #1 draft pick (Kershaw, Trout, and Goldschmidt are all in the mix in this year's draft).  The entire keeper spreadsheet is maintained via Google Docs here.

 

Buy-in is $125.  $100 of that goes straight to the prize pool, and the other $25 is a refundable deposit on transactions ($0.25 apiece).  You can make up to four transactions per week, and 100 over the course of the season.  Any money you don't spend gets returned to you and the rest goes into the prize pool.

 

This is a fun league in its eighth year, and I've been commissioner for most of that span.  The players are from all over the country, mostly friends of friends at this point.  It's an active league with knowledgeable players who love baseball.  I'd love to include some AngelsWin types in the mix.

We're hoping to finalize our roster within the next week and the better teams will be awarded on a first come first served basis.  Let me know if you're interested, and if so which particular team you want.

Excuse me if it was said already, and I did not see it, but where is this league hosted?  Yahoo? ESPN? etc? How are payments collected?

Yeah, it's a Yahoo league, Head-to-head, points.  Payments can be either via check (mailed) or via PayPal.

 

We have just one team remaining available ("Team Brantley") which in my opinion is one of the strongest keeper teams.  (A.J. Pollock and Michael Brantley are both 16th round keepers.  Max Scherzer is a first round keeper which is great because this team is locked into the 11th pick in the first round.)  Let me know if you're interested.  We'll fill first-come-first-served.
