Joe Oeschger had a score of 153 in a game in 1920 but only because he tossed 26 innings of one-run ball. He did allow nine hits. Leon Cadore, the opposing pitcher, matched him inning for inning, and the game ended in a 1-1 tie, called on account of darkness. Cadore's game score is 140.
