Victor Rojas and Gubi reporting VERY positive news about Shoemaker's bullpen session today.

 

It appears that Shoemaker will be ready to go for the ALDS.

 

That's certainly the biggest WIN for the Angels today.........

 

suddenly feeling a little better about the playoffs for us.

 

Our bats are going to have to stay hot (like they have been the last few weeks) to make a deep run in the playoffs.

Just to make sure though, I would limit his ALDS start to somewhere around 75 pitches.  

It is still some 6-7 days off, if he were to start game 3 or game 4.

 

Then again, if the Halos somehow went up 2-0 in games they could further limit Shoemaker to say 60 pitches because Rasmus and LeBlanc would hopefully both still be available for 50-60 pitch outings to preserve the pen better.
