Happy to see the red-hot Rengjfo win Player of the Week!

Now to Debbie Downer this thread, here are some not-so-hot Halos:

Moniak in his last 31 games: .188/.209/.304 with 50 K and only 3 BB in 115 plate appearances.

O'Hoppe: 7 for 48 since he came off the IL.

Moustakas in his last 20 games: .186/.194/.243.  Only one BB in 72 plate appearances and only two extra-base hits (one 2B, one HR).

Moniak has contributed defensively, O'Hoppe is probably overwhelmed by the pitching problems, and Moustakas is a needed leader for now, and unfortunately he is not an everyday player anymore..

Tonight is in Detmers hands, nothing good will happen if he doesn't step up.

Sounds like the ingredients of a win to me.

The thing with Moose is he should not be playing every day. 2 to 3 times a week but depleted halos do not have anyone else.
