They had to release him or put him on the 40 man roster by 3/26.  He already said he would resign a minor league deal with the team.

It's almost impossible for guys signed to a minor league deal to make the team from the trainer's table.

The guy has done almost everything but pitch and catch.

Bummer for the injury, because with our collection of minor league back-up types, he could have stuck here. We could have used him.

Hopefully he sees that and decides to stay in our org.
