GAME 116 - ANGELS AT BLUE JAYS

TORONTO – The Angels ended a three-game losing streak in a big way, banging out 18 hits in an 11-4 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays before 25,118 at SkyDome.

The Angels broke the game open early with a seven-run third inning and cruised from there. Darin Erstad had three hits including a home run, Garret Anderson had three hits including a home run and a double, Brad Fullmer homered and doubled, and Jose Molina had three hits.

Angels starter John Lackey wasn’t at his best, but he was good enough. Lackey gave up four run and five hits in six innings and improved to 4-2. The Angels remained 3 ½ games behind Seattle in the A.L. West, and one-half game ahead of both Boston and Oakland in the wild-card race.
