My brother in law has cancer :(

So my brother in law has a cancerous tumor that needs to be treated ASAP. My sister is looking for some help financially as John is headed to a cancer treatment facility in Mexico that has had tremendous success in dealing with this type of cancer. The thing is they don't take our medical insurance so they need to raise as much $$ as possible to pay for the 30k bill to give John a chance at living and so that my sister & brother in law can continue raising their precious son & daughter together. Any amount helps friends & family.

Me too. My brother died of cancer a few months ago and my father has it currently. Stuff like this is devastating and unfair.

I lost my mother to breast cancer in 1984 at age 57.

I enjoyed meeting John last year at the Angels' game in Seattle.  Not only a cool guy, but he was wearing an Angels hat.

Yeah I lost my mom to lung cancer 3 years ago. She was 69 years old.

Ugh. Sorry for your loss. Hoping your dad beats it and is cancer free in the end.

Four cousins have died of cancer, and an aunt who never smoked died of lung cancer at 62. My brother had melanoma but survived and is 15 years cancer-free.

Condolences to Chuck and everyone here who has been affected by this scourge.
