I guess not a bad first try.   But the design already looks dated.

I agree with you to an extent.  But will almost full screen fronts on the G8 and probably the iPhone Edition, the top and bottom bezels (I think that's the word) being so large is to me what makes it dated IMO.

Now width and weight have never bothered me in a phone due to the case issue.
