Doh LG screens.  I'm actually glad I didn't pick this up now.  Especially since it just didn't have the features I was looking for.

How does this not come up when they stress test?  Seems like a huge problem.

I went and checked this phone out at the Verizon store because I was interested and was within my return window for my LG V30. I really liked the  phone and was interested in the XL version but no wireless charging and no headphone jack were the 2 biggest reasons to not make the switch. I also really like the camera on my LG V30. It takes amazing pics.

The screen burn in is also an issue I wouldn't be able to deal with. The color issues don't bother me that much. 

It just didn't have enough to make me want to jump out of the LG V30.

Dude, wireless charging was invented in September of this year as best I understand it, so it's reasonable.

You can't introduce features immediately after Apple invents them. Give Apple some time to bathe in the glory of their innovation.

Bought this phone for my wife since her Note 4 is crapping out. Just waiting for it to show up in the mail.

 

Wireless charging is still gimmicky. You have to buy the special charger (which costs more than a regular charger) just to avoid the 0.5 seconds is takes to plug in the cord. Not anything worth caring much about imo. The headphone jack is on its way out, bluetooth 5 on everything is gonna be taking its place. You can already get really good bluetooth earbuds for $20.

Beyond that, from what i've read the phone just works really really well, with the best smartphone camera on the market.

Anyway, wireless charging is convenient and a lot of new cars now come with wireless charging pads which is nice.

Also, I'm still loving my Galaxy S8. Kick ass smartphone.

I guess I didn't. 

My LG V30 has fast charging wireless capabilities and it is pretty awesome so far.

My Galaxy S5 had wireless charging.  Had to buy a different back that had Qi capabilities.  

But yeah, that was one of the reasons why I didn't get the Pixel 2.  Mico-SD card capability was another reason.  Headphone jack would be inconvenient, especially when you forget to charge the headphones since you don't use them that often.  I have bluetooth headphones, and use them a few times a month, but in most cases use the plug ins because I didn't charge them.  Although the Pixel 2 earbuds with translation and charging case does sound interesting.

I have wireless headphones that I charge like twice every six months, the battery lasts forever.
