Places in Del Mar or Carlsbad to watch the game

Hey all,

So quick question since I'm sure someone on here can help. I have a race on Saturday the 11th at the Del Mar fairgrounds and I will probably be done just in time to drive somewhere to catch the game on Saturday. Does anyone know of any sports bars in Del Mar or Even Carslbad that show Angels games??

There aren't very many options in the DelMar area. I would recommend Karl Staruss Brewing Co. in Carlsbad. It's across from Legoland but not far from the 5 fwy. My main concern is that north county San Diego is blacked out from airing Angels games! Seeing that tomorrow's game isn't a national broadcast, you may be out of luck .

She's asking about watching a game down there on May 11th (a Sat.). The game is going to be on WGN (vs. the CWS). She can probably get them to put the game on at Karl Strauss Brewing or another bar in that area.

You're right! I totally read past the date she was asking for. Yeah, Karl Strauss will be able to show the game.

Awesome , now knowing that its on WGN that day is perfect. Not sure if he'll be starting for sure that day but want to be prepared just in case. thanks so much.
