The Royals have been pretty tough in the second half.

The Royals matched us win for win each month in the second half of the season with a 41-27 record. (3-3 vs Angels in the regular season)

 

Angels / Royals in July after the break were both 7-6

Angels / Royals in August were both 19-10

Angels / Royals in September were both 15-11

 

We're down 0-2 to a pretty good baseball team.

 

A big win today can set up a Weaver vs Guthrie tomorrow. We can beat Guthrie.

I agree, this is just an example of us not hitting at all though. The Royals are a good team and a great story.

This Royals team is playing really solid baseball and are relying on pitching just like the Angels are doing. They also are struggling to score runs in this series so it isn't as one sided as so many here are bemoaning.
