So they've lost 7 in a row and it appears their fan base is starting to get irritated with Cano's lack of production.  I don't think Cano is going to remain a .268 hitter with a .670 OPS, but I'm guessing he's missing that right field porch in Yankee Stadium right about now.

How in the world did we lose so many games to these guys?  Looking at their offense, it looks worse than the one we're putting out there right now.  Out of their 7 wins on the season, 4 of those were against the Angels.  Since the opening series, they've gone 4-12.

Just makes me shake my head.

Cano looks utterly lost. I heard that as of late last week Juan Uribe had as many hard hit balls as Cano.

Perhaps the reality is starting to sink in with Cano. His team sucks. The GM is one of the worst in baseball. Ownership is not committed to a high payroll to support a talented supporting cast. The stands won't be full for most games.

All teams, no matter how bad their record or performance numbers, get hot at some point. Sometimes bad teams play great baseball. Sometimes good teams run into them at the wrong time, especially when said good team is playing bad. Make sense?

Agreed.

The Mariners hot bats out of spring carried over into the first week of the season. Their pitching is still good, just in a funk.

Baseball is a funny sport. The slumping Astros went into Safeco Field last night and punched Felix and the Ms in the mouth.

MLB Network just showed highlights of their game tonight -- they are being shut out by Colin McHugh, he of the 0-8 career record and 8.94 career ERA.   The sad part was how empty that stadium is.... it's a big park to begin with so the empty seats just look worse.

They are a better team than they have shown but, it must be rough to be in that clubhouse right now.

It was more of a rhetorical question really.  Coming out of Spring Training, the Angels were extremely hot.  It doesn't look good however when the Mariners record minus their wins against the Angels is 3-13.
