The Angels are also playing a split-squad game at the Cubs with Detmers starting, but there's no TV or radio.

I think some of you have unrealistic expectations regarding player performances in Spring Training games. Pitchers frequently work on certain aspects of their game and aren't competing the way they would in a regular season game.

In the untelevised game, Detmers has K'ed 3, allowed 2 hits, and 1 run in 2 innings.

I'm watching a video feed of the Detmers game. In the 2nd inning, the Cubs had runners at 1st and 3rd with no outs. The batter hit a comebacker to Detmers, who threw the ball to Rengifo at 3B, who tagged the runner out diving back to the bag. Rengifo was charged with an error for blocking the path to 3B and the player was awarded home.
