Anyone watching the eclipse on 10/14

We don’t get a full view in socal. 
 

Utah, Oregon and Colorado have great views of the ring of fire. 9:30 am

Cloudy here unfortunately for the eclipse. In Boise we won't get the perfect annular eclipse but we'll get a pretty decent eclipse.

it seemed excessively brighter yesterday. tried to take a quick peak through my sunglasses but just couldn't. probably just as well.

when i was a kid it seemed like we only had an eclipse once, and wouldn't see another until 45 years later. now it seems like we have one every couple of years and that there are different kinds of eclipses. same thing for all these different types of moon phases we now have.

i think i need a nap.

My uncle in San Antonio was able to get a pic of the ring through some eclipse glasses. Here it just got eerily darker. I didn’t try to look or do the cardboard pinhole trick, my backyard was all in shade.

I was camping up in the mountains this weekend.  It was a good 3/4 shot where I was.  Nice and clear, but couldn't get a good photo of it. 

I think we are getting a full one in April.  Might try being in the mountains again for that one.

as good of views as we could from So Cal.
