Time to change line up, Howie and Hamilton should not be back to back

Recommended Posts

These two players have been the most unclutch hitters this season. I see a trend or a void in our lineup when men are in scoring position and these 2 guys come up to the plate. Scioscia needs to change the line up. These guys are inning killers or momentum spoilers.I hope Scioscia can seperate these 2 in the lineup. Hopefully a line up chnage can put a spark to this line up.

Every time Howie comes up in a clutch situation after the 6th inning with a runner on first and no outs, he should be bunting, with one out put the hit and run on. Sound ridiculous, but men on second and third with one out or at worst a runner on second with two outs is better than the inevitable double play. Hamilton should be batting 8th until he gets at least a couple of extra base hits with a RISP. He's now at 53 PA with 0 extra base hits in those situations.
