Angels sign Ryan Buchter to a minor league deal

In all seriousness.... don’t see how he isn’t in our bullpen at the start of the year. He’s pretty decent.

His ERA was fine the past two years, but two main issues.

He had a high WHIP in 2019 (over 1.40), as he walked 4.5/9 innings and barely allowed less hits than innings pitched.

In 2016-2017, he was rock solid against LHH's and RHH's and faced almost twice as many RHH's as LHH's.   But in 2018-2019, he face more LHH's than RHH's, and struggled a lot more vs RHHs.   Was that due to not facing as many RHH's?   Or due to decreasing stuff?

He's also a LOOGY so he won't be nearly as valuable in today's game.
