ANAHEIM – Noé Ramirez, who hit Jake Marisnick in the shoulders with a pitch on Tuesday night, was suspended for three games on Wednesday. Angels Manager Brad Ausmus was suspended for one game.

Marisnick had collided with Angels catcher Jonathan Lucroy on July 7, breaking Lucroy’s nose and causing him a concussion. Marisnick was suspended for two games following that collision. He has appealed.

Ramirez, who said the pitch that hit Marisnick on Tuesday was not intentional, also could appeal.

Ausmus will serve his suspension tonight.
