WTF? http://www.nbcnews.com/news/religion/anti-semitism-infects-one-four-people-global-survey-finds-n104271 "Only 54 percent of people polled globally are aware of the Holocaust — and an alarming 32 percent of them believe the mass genocide of Jews was a myth or has been greatly exaggerated, a sweeping new survey has found. The numbers highlight how pockets of “anti-Jewish sentimentâ€ are alive and well worldwide, according to the Anti-Defamation League’s “ADL Global 100â€ report released Tuesday. The survey found that 26 percent — more than one in four — of the 53,100 adults surveyed are “deeply infectedâ€ with anti-Semitic attitudes. The sur…

The Fundraiser-in-Chief's traffic jam inducing visits to LA don't bother me as much any more since I no longer live in the areas that are affected with his rush hour visits. BUT! For old time sake, I thought I'd mention that the FIC is in the 'hood and he is going to some pretty nice areas. Nothing new there. He always did campaign as a man of the people. I think he's hitting up two fundraisers this time around.

The former secretary of state refused to put Boko Haram on the terrorist list three years ago. For someone who's supposed to have such more gravitas on the world theater color me unimpressed. http://news.yahoo.com/hillary-dropped-ball-boko-haram-020300046--politics.html

Frank Scotto, Torrance's mayor, said he had no warning of Toyota's decision. He said he did know that the automaker planned a corporate announcement for Monday. http://www.latimes.com/business/autos/la-fi-toyota-texas-20140428,0,2881400.story#axzz30Cl1It8J "When any major corporation is courted by another state, it's very difficult to combat that," Scotto said. "We don't have the tools we need to keep major corporations here." The mayor said businesses bear higher costs in California for workers' compensation and liability insurance, among other expenses. "A company can easily see where it would benefit by relocating someplace else," Scotto said.

I got mine in the mail today. Inside they have a separate ballot for 8 different parties. With California's open primary top two system what's the point? All 8 ballots are exactly the same. Multiply that by 20 million or so and how much money and paper did they waste for absolutely no reason?

Here's a video clip well worth watching. What is the response to this of the Biblical literalist? Why is it OK for God to kill millions, including babies? How is the God of the Old Testament not a complete and utter tyrant? When you take the OT literally, it actually makes more sense that Jehovah is an alien overlord, like Zecharia Sitchin believes, rather than a divine and loving father. But if the OT is right, then God is the biggest a-hole in the history of the world.

Obama: "Russia has pointed to America’s decision to go into Iraq as an example of Western hypocrisy. Now, it is true that the Iraq war was a subject of vigorous debate, not just around the world but in the United States, as well. I participated in that debate, and I opposed our military intervention there. But even in Iraq, America sought to work within the international system. We did not claim or annex Iraq’s territory. We did not grab its resources for our own gain. Instead, we ended our war and left Iraq to its people in a fully sovereign Iraqi state that can make decisions about its own future." Shortly after Obama's speech, the reality in Iraq: htt…

George P. Bush — the nephew of former President George W. Bush and son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush — was running for land commissioner in the Lone Star State and easily defeated little-known Republican primary opponent David Watts, a businessman from East Texas. The 37-year-old Dallas lawyer, whose mother, Columba Bush, is from Mexico, speaks Spanish fluently, and many Republicans consider him the future of their party in a state with a booming Hispanic population. He also is already a national name in GOP circles. http://www.politico.com/story/2014/03/george-p-bush-texas-land-commissioner-2014-elections-104260.html

You got Barack Obama securing the black vote, and most of the minority vote with his endorsements/campaigning. Bill Clinton that can secure the White vote. Hillary Clinton that can secure a large portion of the womens vote. Thats pretty much all you need. Anyways this is just my opinion and I would be happy to receive feedback on my opinion.

Has now been labeled the Deporter In Chief. That Neo Con President has shifted from lying about Health care, sicing the IRS on political rivals and is focused on getting rid of those pesky immigrants. Dammit, if he keeps this up the Republicans will have no platform for the next election. And he can't even blame this on George Bush, he is rolling up the deportations at a 63% higher rate and will eventually kick more families out of the US than the affordable care act has citizens from their health insurance plans, (I joke, he won't even scratch the surface of that number) over 2 million people. http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2014/mar/17/janet-m…

Did not the 1981-82 recession's jobs recovery happen sooner than this one, even though that was along with this one the worst recession since the Depression? Has Obama truly polarized the CEOs collectively into not wanting to spend until he is out of the WH on 1/20/2017? Or is this generation of CEOs simply the greediest since the days of Boss Tweed, given how much money they are sitting on for the past several years?
