In years past, there has always been that one guy who leads this team, who calls guys out, who calls the team out, who holds team-only meetings, etc... This years' team doesn't have any leadership in the clubhouse. It appears, IMO, that each player is an individual working on their own stats. Do they all run from the dugout when they win? Sure, why not? It looks good. But in years past, someone was the "leader" when we were in a slump. Is it the Tori Hunter effect? Heck, even Tori called out MS last year. I don't know, just one man's opinion. But it seems like we have a bunch of prima donnas who worry about the paycheck rather than being a "leader".

http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/players/playerpage/1769243 If he throws, he will be the 20th P used by Halos so far...and it's May 11. Usually not a good bellwether for a baseball season. Sorry if Craig, I didn't see anything.

By Rob Goldman, AngelsWin.com Historical Writer - The Scene: Angels Stadium, October 26, 2002 - 7th Inning Scott Spiezio knew he’d hit it well. How well he wasn’t sure; but from the moment he turned on the Felix Rodriguez fastball, he felt it had a chance to go out. As he left the batter’s box and headed for first base, the crowd became eerily silent. Spiezio stared at the ball he had crushed just moments before, now hanging high in the sky. “Please, God, make the ball go out! Please!,â€ he thought to himself. Spiezio had tattooed the low inside fastball. He had put his absolute best swing on it. And as Rodriguez whirled a…

By Joe Haakenson, AngelsWin.com Contributor - MAY 11, 2002 GAME 35 - WHITE SOX AT ANGELS ANAHEIM – The Angels put up five runs in the first inning and rode the right arm of starting pitcher Ramon Ortiz and two relievers to a 6-3 win over the Chicago White Sox before 40,535 at Edison Field. Ortiz (4-3) gave up three runs and seven hits in seven innings while striking out eight, getting plenty of support from the offense, which had 12 hits, including two each from Darin Erstad, Troy Glaus, Garret Anderson and Scott Spiezio. Glaus hit a two-run homer, his seventh of the year, and Spiezio drove in three. Troy Percival struck out the side in the ninth for his sixth …

form Rotoworld: He became the first pitcher in MLB history to fan 13 batters without making it through five innings. Cobb surrendered three runs on five hits and a pair of walks over 4 2/3 innings in the game, while also issuing a balk, hitting a batter and throwing a wild pitch. He generated an absolutely astounding 23 swings and misses on the evening, 21 of them coming on his changeup. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/mlb/394739/cobb-fans-career-high-13-in-4-23-innings

http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20130510&content_id=47161890&vkey=news_mlb&c_id=mlb Thought this was an interesting clip, apparently this is the first time a pitcher has struck out every batter in an inning and a run has scored anyway. This is an example of why Scisocia should give Trout more green lights to steal

Trumbo cut down at 2B today for the Angels 21st time, is Scioscia out of this game? After getting cut down over the weekend against Baltimore, too, Scioscia's sending him them there again today, with Hamilton in the box?! Unnecessary!! Bet pushing makes or breaks your game, and that might have been his last chip. If they lose this game.
