   Had double hernia surgery yesterday and with the Thanksgiving holiday next week I'm essentially out a week and a half with a lot of time on my hands. There's a few things I have never got around to like Deadwood and Luther but was wondering what shows or movies you consider epics that everyone shouldn't miss. Maybe I missed something altogether worth viewing. Even list the obvious ones like Breaking Bad if that's at the top of your list (I may even watch it all over again). Just looking for ideas and you guys generally come up with good ones or worth consideration.

    My wife and I are supposed to leave for a week trip to Ireland. The problem is I think my wife got the flue. She was sick yesterday and much worse today. She can't keep anything down.     Gonna buy a newer used SUV, likely mid-size, sometime this year. The Honda Pilot, Toyota Highlander size is probably where we'll end up, but currently vetting the market.
