wow, i didn't even know he was sick (or maybe someone posted it here and i'd just forgotten). what a shame.

Sounds like it was less than a month by the time he was diagnosed.  Definitely seemed to have some issues or demons dealing with being a child celebrity but wasn't the first and won't be the last.  RIP 44 is way too young.
