Puget Sound Angel reacted to AngelsFaninGA in Just curious - what is going right with this org?
I do like our uniforms

Puget Sound Angel reacted to arch stanton in Just curious - what is going right with this org?
Their stadium is located a few miles from where I grew up and they're not the Dodgers. That's all I got
-
Puget Sound Angel reacted to Jason in Will the Angels lose 100 games this season?
This team doesn’t have the talent or drive to win like that
-
Puget Sound Angel reacted to Chuck in In what appears to be a lost season what are you looking forward to see happen for the rest of the campaign?
The Mike Trout/Shohei Ohtani MVP watch.
Ohtani's progression as a starting pitcher.
Sandoval & Detmers continued success!
Ohtani offered a lifetime extension! I don't believe the Angels should trade Ohtani.
I say, play all the prospects and trade away everyone with a 1-year deals. Would love to see some of these arms from Double-A contribute, much like we've seen from Silseth.
If you can get a haul for Taylor Ward, do it.
Outside of that, I'm looking forward to seeing what Stefanic can do, Adell with consistent playing time as well as Rengifo who has slashed .321/.333/ .518 over his last 15 games.
What say you?

Puget Sound Angel reacted to The Ghost of Bob Starr in Are you big mad that Arte has not had a press thing in the last 2 years ?
Respect to Arturo. This is right out of the playbook of who owns the Charlestown Chiefs.

Puget Sound Angel reacted to Lou in Who gets fired next?
Nothing looks more dumb than a 68-years old trying to pump up his team by getting a mohawk right before getting fired.
That will always be funny.

Puget Sound Angel reacted to cysomeawfulpitcher in A no-hitter, a cycle, a 14 game losing streak, and 20 K's walk into a bar.....
Angels fans like me this past month.

Puget Sound Angel got a reaction from Swordsman78 in There will be no rebuild - and this is why
As long as Trout and Ohtani are on the roster you have to go for it.
Don't even think about re-build until they are gone.

Puget Sound Angel reacted to Duren, Duren in 20 Strikeouts?!
The cowboy hat celebration has become an embarrassment. It exemplifies a personal statistic above team results. And may be a peek into the mindset of the team.
They should have a ritual burning of the hat. And appreciate scoring runs in diverse ways as much as they seem to value homers. It would help too if they focussed more on playing fundamentally sound baseball.
I wonder if Arte would enjoy watching a pitching/defense/small ball winning team more than these all or nothing big swing losers. Over time he's the one constant who has had final say about the direction of the team.

Then again, Mets can actually beat teams with worse records. 2003 Tigers could beat us this season ffs.

Puget Sound Angel reacted to Lou in 2022 is done
Oregon will run away with the Pac12 North. Very favorable schedule.
-
Puget Sound Angel reacted to Taylor in Time to make Shohei an Angel for life
Don Arte must make him an offer he can't refuse.
-
Puget Sound Angel reacted to Justin in Is there any chance Arte would reach into the luxury tax to sign Aaron Judge?
Judge is on the wrong side of 30 and puts up numbers in a joke of a stadium.
It would be a terrible move.
So yes, there is a strong chance Arte will do it.

Puget Sound Angel reacted to m0nkey in Is there any chance Arte would reach into the luxury tax to sign Aaron Judge?
I think we'd all know how Judge signing here would turn out
-
Puget Sound Angel reacted to tdawg87 in Theoretically speaking what are the Angels odds for reaching the post season?
We are the scrub teams.

Puget Sound Angel got a reaction from Angel Oracle in Anthony Rendon undergoing season ending wrist surgery
Rendon is more fragile than Anthony Davis.

I was at the Big A sitting in the old football stadium seats in center field during the ultimate low as an Angels fan. October 12, 1986.

Puget Sound Angel reacted to UndertheHalo in It’s Mike Trout and friends responsibility to make the playoffs
Trout is back tonight. Anthony Rendon is back. Shohei Ohtani is getting what he wants. These guys didn’t play or played like shit and that’s why the Angels lost 14 games in a row and flushed the good start they got off to down the fucking toilet. Not making the playoffs is these guys problem. The blame is squarely on them if they don’t do it. Theres 100 plus games left. There’s extra playoff slots. They control their destiny. There’s enough on this team. Ward will be back. Walsh is solid Stassi is solid. There’s optimism for Marsh, Adell, and Rengifo. I’ll give a shit about other issues when Mike Trout isn’t batting .140 or whatever. When Anthony Rendon isn't slugging .395 on a 35 million a year contract.
alright that’s the end of the rant. Let’s fucking go.

Puget Sound Angel reacted to T.G. in Who will become the Angels' permanent new manager?
On June 22 when they honor the 2002 WS team, Mike Scioscia will walk from the field back into the dugout to manage the team for the next ten years. AW will never be the same, but it will be glorious.
