Pujols could single-handedly rescue 250 girls from a human trafficking ring, and the usual crew would find something to criticize about it.

Nolan Ryan wins his 100th game and pitches his 4th no-hitter, tying Sandy Koufax on the all-time list.

I remember when he was the next young stud for the rangers.  -0.2 WAR last year and -1.1 WAR so far this year.
the only thing you've hit the last few years is Bautista's chin.

Honest question, you have Andrelton Simmons and Ozzie Smith in his prime on  the same team. Who plays SS?

Kole Calhoun, due to the fact that he is never on base, has simply forgotten how to run the bases.

It just occurred to me that I'd never seen the joke made that Griffin still has a coaching job with the Angels because his first name reminds Scioscia of one of his favorite pasta sauces.
Not that it should be made, think Alfredo is great, just surprised it hasn't been made (that I've seen).

His slump is approaching historic territory. That's what a curtain call at the Big A will get you.
from ESPN: After striking out in the seventh inning Friday night, Yankees shortstop Didi Gregorius — the American League's Player of the Month for April — is now 1-for-his-last-45. On April 25, Sir Didi was batting .372. He's now hitting .248.

Blake Parker has already turned it around.   1.80 ERA in past 15 innings.   It’s stupdifying why Scioscia hasn’t used him for more than 15-20 pitches in the past 10 days.

I love the way this guy pitches: fearless, gritty, and smart. His stuff is merely pretty good (although with some excellent breaking pitches sometimes), but he just knows how to pitch.
Assuming he's pulled after 7, his line for the year is now: 25.1 IP, 7 walks, 20 strikeouts, 2.13 ERA in 5 starts.
    Oh yeah, 21 years old.
