I don't dislike Scioscia and think he's more good than bad, but it is time. 

He'll be gone as a manager, but I believe the Angels will "promote" him into a front office position. Whether you like Scioscia or not, he's earned a lifetime spot in the Angels org.

Giants. Their recent wins have made their new fans up here unbearable. 
 
The Mariners. Dipoto mostly. 
 
The Astros don’t bother me at all even being in the division and winning recently. A’s currently don’t bother me. I like Olson and Davis a lot. Rangers will always rub me the wrong way after a couple somewhat decent seasons. 
 
And of course the Yankees, Red Sox, and Dodgers

I get that the Angels aren't going to the playoffs this year, but if we could somehow absolutely crush the Mariners chances, that would be amazing.

History repeating itself. Dipoto spent money, depleted that farm system and was crap for two years.
Then he was a genius in 2014 because everything went right.
After that, he was back to being crap again.
The M's right now are like the 2014 Angels. 

I used to get excited when Eppler would claim some random reliever off of waivers because they were always studs somehow. But now it’s looking like a lot of luck as many of them came back to earth and all the new ones have been absolutely terrible

A’s are not as bad as people think. They should be in the upper half in offense in the AL. It’s their pitching that is lacking because of the injuries and the defense is just putrid

I know I give you a hard time about being a bit of a homer with Angels prospects but I value your opinion.  So when you said last year he was already better than Kole I expected a bit more than someone horribly overmatched.  

My boss is one of the nicest dudes I’ve ever met. He’s definitely the best boss I’ll ever have. But when it comes to spoiling shows, HE’S THE WORST!!! He constantly spoiled GoT for me so when I finally watched it I knew about 3 huge things that happened. The other day he mentioned he just started watching Dexter and someone said they hadn’t seen it yet and he immediately said he couldn’t believe so and so died. I so badly wanted to spoil the craziest death on the show just to get him back. But it’s not intentional. He’s just kind of spacey when it comes to that. But damn.

I haven’t read through this thread so sorry if this has been mentioned, but the Rockies spent a ton of money on their bullpen and it’s been awful. Bullpens are just so volatile 

Maybe Lou can bump it, but maybe its gone from the old board days, but reference what beetles just wrote, it would be funny to look back at the hamilton signing threads...i was one of the few that didnt like the deal, because we had offense at the time but lost grienke, and haren and santana looked done. Most on here were ecstatic.(and it seemed at the time that pujols/hamilton would be manny/ortiz, so i get it). 
Well, that was arte, too. 50 million to two guys...the worst 50 million you could spend just about.
Add in weaver and wilson, and that left about 90 mill in cap space for 21 other guys.
Which going back before trout got here, included wells..gmj...etc.
Its not that moreno hasnt tried, or been cheap. Its that he signed checks to all the wrong people. (Including his GMs).

He’s been great since Detroit. Might be the reason we are on a winning streak right now. We just need someone who can hit in front of Trout and Upton. He was the first one I wanted gone too. Oops

Was reading a Mariners message board to see what they thought of their draft so far...  Lots of people talking about how it was smart of Jerry's front office to focus their draft on high floor college players because it will mean an infusion of MLB ready talent.  Say what you will about him, he sells his vision well.
I do not miss those days.
