I enjoyed the game. Plenty of drama, guys like Freeze, Aybar and Kendrick were game changers, the Indians didn't roll over and play dead after falling behind. All in all very entertaining and best is the Angels won.

No way, but they need to make  the DH universal.  Having different rules is stupid.  Watching pitchers bunt and whiff generally isn't entertaining.  

Putting on a shift then complaining the batter is trying to hit to the hole is ****ing stupid on the Astros/Porter's part. It is the 1st inning and the opposing team has 8 more innings to come back. No way in hell do you back off the throttle.
 
Porter wants the opposition to play be unwritten rules when he can't even follow the rule book changing pitchers. Learn the game rules first then start lecturing about the good old boys rules.

Boomer's a dinosaur, and the US is really backwards when it comes to parental leave. I'm not sure about paternal, but in many Western European countries mothers get three YEARS of maternity leave. But that's too socialist for us hardworking 'mericans who would rather see our taxes go to unnecessary military spending and corporate tax breaks.

as the husband of a wife expecting any day now, I find it incredibly irritating that anyone would try and criticize Murphy for this.  Most men in "normal" professions take at least a week or two off to be with their new child and help out.  That he's only taking 3 days is already a sacrifice.  As for a C-section, it's major surgery and something you try and avoid at all possible.  Makes the hospital stay and recovery period longer, and carries more risk.

Athletes and (male) politicians shouldn't give opinions on pregnancy and women's issues. They almost always say something stupid.

Erasmo Ramirez is a very good young pitcher. Underrated.

Speaking of breaking news, it has come to my attention that someone who posts here, but writes for another website took what I posted and read between the lines (and said it was Trumbo to the Rockies), but took credit on Twitter for breaking this news, not giving credit to us. Kind of BS and lame if you ask me.
