My understanding is the talks with Trout were going to start after Machado and Harper sign. Since they probably haven't started, I don't know how anyone can say a deal is "unlikely."

Yeah ok um no thanks. To all of the Scioscia haters I hope you remember the grass is not always greener on the other side. A boring retread who made so many questionable decisions with the tigers and then lost his clubhouse and we’re supposed to be excited?

Given how badly they have butchered this Ohtani situation so far this season, I guess it's totally justified be outraged.   This wouldn't even be an issue if only they had listened to this board and sent him to AAA where he clearly belongs.....  Maybe we see Ohtani the pinch hitter tonight.
 I'm more concerned with seeing if Skaggs finally overcomes his issues facing Texas.

Let's be honest, Scotty over values all of our prospects.  The Angels got Kinsler for two nobodies.

Everyone (MLB Teams), knew about this prior to the bidding...   They have had this info since at least late November -- it didn't keep anyone from bidding on him.

Darvish is not a luxury when you don't know if you count on the health of Richards, Skaggs, Heaney, Shoemaker, Tropeano, and the innings restriction of Ohtani...

Think we should try and hang onto as many prospects as possible. Trade Cron or one of our dead arms for bullpen help. Sign Moustakas and a second basemen. 

Surprised at everyone passing. How many better options are available? Has the Ohtani acquisition gone to your heads?  Would be a massive upgrade from the previous season. Castro would be a great buy low option at second base. If you do that and sign Moustakas the lineup would be absolutely lethal.
