Yeah, much better to have a empty stadium and not draw 3 million fans every year to Anaheim. LA gave the Doyers the land to build, think they regret it? I don't, I hope the Angels do leave Anaheim, f them. I'm a Angels fan and could care less about that crappy city. I spend a LOT of money in Anaheim because of the Angels, I would have no problem spending in a different city.

You don't think they could generate tax income on hotels and restaurants and tickets and other businesses?  That is crazy thought. 

Good thing Arte changed the name to LA Angels! Now they just need to drop the of Anaheim.

I will say that they should look at like Capuano or Maholm as a nice cheap option though...just to help add more overall depth to the starting staff
 
After that, focus on extending Trout

It could be he doesn't want to for this coming season knowing that Trout will get a big raise next year and better pitchers will be available. He then can go over in 2015 and 2016 with lots of money coming off the books in 17. I could be wrong, but it also could be he thinks none of the FA this year are worth going over.

This is the ultimate nightmare scenario. 
 
LAX averages about 87,000 departing passengers per day, but that's over the course of 24 hours!  That averages to 3625 per hour.  Ballparks on the other hand will have 40,000 fans trying to pass through metal detectors within a one-hour window before games.  I wouldn't expect the security check to be as rigorous, but there's no way that ballparks will have the same number of metal detectors either.  LAX has dozens of them.  
 
So basically what we're looking at is a security line five to ten times longer than all terminals combined at LAX.  To get everybody through the gates for a 7:05pm game, they'll have to start mid-afternoon.

Maybe it's not the Angels being reluctant to trade Trumbo, I think it's more that they  are reluctant to trade Trumbo for what's being offered. Dipoto knows he must win whatever trade he makes after the awful job he did last year.

It still bothers me that he has averaged about 115 games over the last three seasons. 

So you would trade that for 1 year of Scherzer who's agent is Boras, compared to 2 years of Price? I would take Price.
