Good man, Claude. 

First time since Albert has been an Angel, I witnessed an at bat that truly shows his stuff.  With the count 3-1, Albert thought he got a pitch out of the strike zone, but was rung up for a strike.
 
He got back into the box and drove the 3-2 pitch out of the park.  As an Angel player, I've seen him take a pitch like that, roll over on it, and ground out....but not last night.  
 
That was a vintage Albert at bat...one of a kind player, future Hall of Famer.  
 
Yeah, maybe Albert will never be the great, consistant hitter for us as he was for the Cards.  But hey---we are truly blessed as Angels fans to be able to watch Albert Pujols and Mike Trout take the field every night and do some great things!  
 
Hopefully Albert will continue on this roll and have a great season for us!

What about Mark Trumbo?  Ever since the talking heads started saying that we were looking for another OF, I thought about a reunion with Trumbo. 
 
Fan favorite, can play LF, especially with Trout in CF, and definitely a middle of the order bat.  Thoughts?

How is Arte to blame in all of this?  Two things of importance in the contract with Hamilblow....
 
1.  The Angels gave him a sh** ton of money to perform on the baseball field
2.  He needed to stay clean
 
Hamilblow is still getting all of the money promised to him by Arte, while he managed to not perform on the field, and managed not to stay clean.

I'm having a really hard time relating to your example..   I've never knowingly parked illegally -- not once.  Not because of some high moral ground or righteousness but because I didn't want to put up with all the BS that could possibly arise had my car been towed.  Somewhere along the way to adulthood I was taught something about actions and consequences and I actually apply it to everyday things as mundane as where I park my car. 

And as we all know, Josh Hamilton is telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, and he has never said anything that wasn't completely factual. Addicts don't lie or blame anyone else for their failings, that's another fact.

This ****ing asshole did COCAINE, an ILLEGAL ****ING drug, while under contract. He did cocaine, and is being paid 83 million ****ing dollars to do it. And he is the ****ing victim. Poor Josh. He has a disease, he needs help. He's a poor soul who lost his way.
 
Obviously the Angels should have had cocaine available in the clubhouse because Joshy-woshy has a disease and can't help himself.
 
I'm gonna go do a line of coke right now in the bathroom of my work and then tell my boss I did it but it's ok because I have a disease and if they try to fire me then they are a bunch of mean POOPY HEADS and should be shamed for their absolutely disgusting behavior. 

At this point Hamilton could have sex with a nine year old boy and guys like you would still blame Arte.

I'm so tired of people saying it is Arte's fault in all of this....
 
The Angels believed in the MVP Josh Hamilton, so much so that they invested a ton of money on him, gave him his accountability partner, and welcomed him here with open arms---even knowing he was an addict.  
 
Josh has been through rehab (probably several times), and no doubt was told a billion times during rehab that any time you feel the need to abuse again, CALL SOMEBODY:  An accountability partner, a trusted friend, family members, one of the numerous teammates you've had thru the years, church friends, hell...go to local AA meeting and just sit there.   Or simply, think of your beautiful daughter's faces and realize you are hurting them beyond belief..
 
Josh MADE THE CHOICE to buy or call someone to supply a drug to him, sat with the drug in hand knowing it could change his life once again, and HE CHOSE to ingest said drug.....He needs to be accountable for his choice to abuse again--it's not Arte's fault. 
 
God bless those of you out there that are recovering addicts who do not have the endless supply of emotional support that Josh was given, and you rose above it all and made the CHOICE of not abusing drugs again.  Yes, a daily struggle for sure, but you did it!!!!  Congrats to you and I pray that you continue in your recovery.

Claude you are the ultimate wet blanket. The Angels just had their best game of the season and you come in here with all your judgemental crap. Granted everything you said was factual but you just come across like a guy that despises everything about the team. How dare they have a little fun when they've had a rough go of it. This could have been as simple as the first guy who did it, probably Pujols when he feels a play should be challenged (which I'm positive you would hate), and the rest of the players mimicking him.

Put me in the category of something happened behind closed doors between management and Hamilton that no one knows about.
