He moves better and has better range and glove in general than Walsh. To say it is stupid is a gross overstatement.
 

Career negative 0.3 bWAR in 502 ABs isn't much to celebrate. Perhaps he'll take off and start hitting closer to his numbers when he blew up in the minors, but for now he's average at best. I'd rather have Adell and Marsh starting every day with Ward as a utility guy.

Look, I love Mike Trout.  And he is about as classy as a player can possibly be, especially verbally.  But if you watch is actual body language, this dude has a massive amount of swagger.  It is omnipresent.
The reason it isn't offensive to anyone, is because it is earned.  He backs it up with performance.
My view is Mike is a swag machine with no off button.

I think context is important as to whether or not a trade makes sense for us, at least in terms of a contention window.
If we had a really solid team that was an ace pitcher away from being a legit WS team?  Absolutely, I'd trade Adell for Snell.  I think Adell is "worth" Snell.
But for us, given where we are and how many holes we still have, we are not a "Snell away" from being a legit WS team, which is why I do not do it.
We need to build our core moving forward.  I would trade Adell for Pleasac, Dustin May, Ian Anderson, etc - young, stud pitchers who have years of control remaining and are in the cheap years of their career.  Snell, as good as he is, is definitely undervalued but not exactly cheap, and he has only 3 years of control left.  Again, given where we are in our contention window (not yet there), I would not trade Adell for Snell.

I forgot the Rays pulled Snell early while he was mowing down the Dodgers and he wasn't happy about it. Maybe Snell told them to trade him. 
 

They back loaded his contract and will earn 13 mill too much for Rays. Plus know they can get a lot for him. Snell has issues with manager.

Two position players on the angels were more valuable than pederson last season and people here are complaining. That's amazing.

This off-season hasn't gone the way I thought it would at all. If you had asked me in July, I would've said the Angels will sign Cole and Wheeler. In October, I would've said Cole and Odorizzi. In November, Cole and Ryu. Here we are approaching the new year and it's been Rendon, Teheran and Bundy, which if that's all they did would be an absolutely terrible off-season, not because Rendon isn't good. He's great. It's just because these moves haven't addressed the Angels actual needs.
But they aren't done. 
Just a guess, I'm thinking the Angels will send Luis Rengifo and a couple lottery tickets like Aquino and Jerryell Rivera for Joe Musgrove. Musgrove had been very good outside of Pittsburgh, and his youth and arsenal suggest he'll be much better in the next four years if his rookie contract than the first four years. He'll probably be a mid rotation starter. Someone that goes 170+ innings with a 3.5 ERA and lots of K's.
