You couldn't have fucked up the organization any more if you had tried.

Are you really a Dodger fan who always intended to make this organization a laughingstock? If so, mission accomplished.

Sell the fucking team. We don't want you here any more.

Maybe for him it was. I did not enjoy it one bit.

First off, all of us  cannot express how much your kind words about our brother Lou have meant to us. We've been reading your comments and messages. Second, thanks to the many who have reached out privately. I tried to write reach of you back it's been too difficult. So I thought I would send this out to the Angel Win family. I was given the difficult job of going to through my brother's tablet to find some pictures we can use for his services this Friday, September 8th. You wouldn't believe the amount of screenshots he had of your posts going back SEVERAL years! He loved this site and it brought him joy until his final days. He had 3 tabs open so he could read all the wonderful, funny and especially smart ass comments you all made about him after learning about his health. This site brought him so much joy. Some have asked about sending flowers, cards or well wishes. What you may not know is that our brother wanted to move to Mexico and help with kids and children who are in need of assistance (orphanages). My sister and oldest brother are in the process of finding a charity that will help. So if you'd like, please wait on the flowers and I'll post something once it's been solidified. He had this group picture pinned to his photo log so it shows up first. next picture, Lou is the one on the left taken WAY back in the day and finally, his marker that will be at his burial site. Thanks again for everything...and GO HALOS!

Why would the Braves want Trout? He can't stay healthy and is owed $252 million over the next seven years, which are his age 32-38 seasons.
Ohtani, sure. But he has his own problems. And it isn't like what the Braves are doing isn't working - it is. I wouldn't mess with that, if I'm them.

Justin reacted to Jeff Fletcher in OC Register: Angels give hot-hitting Luis Rengifo a shot in the outfield
When he drew like 5 walks in the first few games I actually told Perry that he was my sleeper to be the Angels 3rd best hitter. I figured adding the discipline to what he’d done last year would really unlock something.

However he was actually too passive at first. He was not identifying the pitches well enough so he was just taking too much of everything. Then he had a few weeks in late May/early June when he went too far the other way, so he stopped walking but starting hitting a few homers.
Then in mid June he figured it out.

he’s had a .900 OPS for 200 PAs. If he can get to .800 for the full season (he’s around .760 now) and maintain that year after year he’d be a valuable everyday player.

My apologies Mrs.  Nevin.  Maybe you shouldn’t read the board if you can’t stand meanies like me say unflattering things about your husband.

One of the things I remember specifically being brought up was the post game food in the clubhouse.

Again... I kind of rolled my eyes, like "you make more than enough money to buy food you like after work."
That said, when I was told what it was compared to several other teams, meh... yeah.... did sound a bit "cheap".
Like essentially the "big boy" organizations were serving something an actual chef made after the game, and we were putting out the 5 dollar carry out pizzas from Little Ceasers. One topping only kind of thing.

Justin reacted to Jeff Fletcher in Angels place Chase Silseth on IL, recall Kenny Rosenberg
MLB "advises" teams not to have players undergoing concussion treatment talk to the media. It is partly because of the TV lights and partly because players may not be as good as evaluating their own condition with a concussion as they are with another injury.

This is bullshit… he had tommy John and sat for a whole 12 months +, we had a 6 man rotation for him, all sorts of innings and pitch count limits especially when Eppler was around, this is really the first year he’s been in charge of his work load. I know we are all frustrated but don’t make BS up.
