I really don't see 150 at bats in A ball being the life or death of a player. Ward is fine, he is just adjusting. Talked with him a few weeks ago and he knows it's between the left and right ears at this moment. At 22 there are a lot of factors messing with these kids heads. He has the talent to be good, he just needs to grind away at it for a while this year instead of it all coming so easy as it did in past seasons. A little failure can be the best way to respect the need to stay focused and learn the game instead of just suit up and play.

I hope it isn't glossed over but Giavotella was 6-11 during the series with 2 BB. He raised his batting average 42 points in three games.

Do you have any data besides the fact that the three are on the Angels' roster? Do you think the Angels' training staff approach blows out UCL's in 100 innings flat?
Skaggs spent significant time in the Diamondbacks system before his injury in his first season on the Angels MLB roster (113 innings pitched with Angels.) Heaney is a product of the Marlin's farm system (111.2 innings pitched with Angels.) Your supposition seems unfounded.

You also missed the part where he's entitled to express his opinion on here just like you.

His defense is on par if not better than Perez, but his bat is far superior than Carlos

I guess it's just me ... I wouldn't call the bullpen awful nor would I call it great.

Houston started off 2015 strong and faded badly down the stretch. They really only made the wildcard because the Angels were so awful in August. 
 
Hanging around .500 while the offense struggles isn't a terrible thing right now especially in the AL West.
