I find it so funny that people who argue that Bourjos isn't very good or in this case "average" and "nothing special" yet they believe we can get a front line starter for him.
 
I think we can get a starting pitcher for Bourjos but I believe he is a very good player.  

Fire Butcher. Give Scioscia one more year (and let him know this, so MAYBE he'll try something new for once) Give Dipoto one more year to show he's taking this team in the right direction.

If this guy turns out to be a true #2 starter then it's the best and maybe only chance the halos will have of acquiring a player of that caliber perhaps for the next 2-3 years.  I hope they take a really hard look at this guy. 

It's like they think it's fantasy baseball and some team will take 3 guys on our bench that suck for an all-star

Anyone stupid enough to believe that anything you see from bourjos (or anyone else) that has missed as much time as he has, and should pick up right where he left off before he went down (the last time he was a regular was in april) loses all credibility.
It would be like getting divorced after a long marriage, and giving up women because the first few nights at a bar you didn't know how to talk to them.

I'm confused by your comments.  You think the parts and pieces are there for a competitive team?  You think the farm system has tradeable pieces for a good team?

I don't see the hate for Cowgill. He was batting .298 for us with Shuck like defense (great play or horrible play) Hes been better than Calhoun has.

They're already in Anaheim, that's pretty much the same thing.

*sigh* how old are you? do you know how much of that 8 million he'd actually see?  and we're talking about this in comparison to the literally hundreds of millions he has the potential to make.  8 million isn't much at all.
