Richards is an ace.  His 2014 proved that.  He just wasnt changing speeds well enough yesterday, everything was hard.  That Kris Davis AB was pretty much the ballgame but I think that was mostly on Malonado calling a terrible game. I still dont understand those 3 straight sliders and then telegraphing a fastball to a dead fastball hitter.  Richards missed the location but the setup was all wrong.
TBH the entire team looked disinterested like they wanted to just get the game over with. They have no heart.  Call me negative i dont give a fuck, THEY HAVE NO HEART.  A reflection of their manager of the last 18 years who always looks disinterested and uninspired.  The same stupid and predictable moves when the game is on the line.  It didnt make sense to make all those upgrades this year and then keep Scioscia.  What was the fucking point?

A HR, three hit batters and two walks.  A starting pitching performance that even Ohtani will not be able to match.  And Happ is on my fantasy team - always good to be in first place once in a season.

Williams could hit in any era. He had hand eye coordination coupled with athleticism, strength, intelligence greater than his peers. With the kind of nutrition and weight training going on today he would be the same hitter, possibly even better.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Anges have lacked a resident ass-hole for years. He's needed on this team big time. We have to many soft spoken nice guys. 

Nothing wrong with collecting players who not only want to win, but hate to lose.  

Kinsler is like Lackey - when he's on your team, comes to play every day and gets fired up he's your asshole but when he's on another team he's just an asshole.  Who cares about 8 years ago or even last year he's here for a chance to win a championship.

Honestly, a wet turd might be a pleasant surprise compared to the last few seasons. Kinsler isn't a HOF candidate, but if there was a "Hall of the really good players," he'd be in it. I always thought could be a Jerk-- bit I've also thought every team needs a jerk.
