I swear, when I first saw his handle I thought it said cooter. I thought wow, Jim Bob Cooter is an Angel fan. No such luck.

I'm really liking this guy.
Disarcina was my SS as a kid. Eckstein and Aybar were good, probably better than Disar, but for some reason I still viewed Disar as MY SS. Cabrera was very good but had a shorter tenure. Simmons was extremely underrated. We definitely landed him on the 2nd half of his career, but he was unbelievable.
I think Neto might become my favorite Angel SS going forward.
I like that you mention Simmons, he seemed to have the best situational awareness that I have seen. It looks like Neto has the same thing, always around the ball. I think he is , and I hate to use this term a "Natural".

I worked at my uncle's used car lot at 14,but my first real job was pumping gas at Russ Conkle Union 76 in Los Alamitos. One of the guys I worked with was Dennis Lamp, who pitched in the bigs for 16 years.

Lots of season left….I’m just glad we have some legit depth, for once….
Exactly, plus he will probably be in the lineup tomorrow against the lefty Paxton.

After last years successful trip I’m back again for this whole home stand. Been at the games the last couple of nights and then will be there until Monday. You might have seen me with my union flag with the Angels logo on the broadcast last night. So far so good! Hoping for another no hitter though…
When I saw you on tv I said to my dog ,hey I know that guy. She was far less impressed than me, but she can be kind of a bitch. I still thought it was pretty cool.

When I saw the title I thought for sure this was going to be a tell-all about gays in the minor leagues. I was pleasantly surprised.

Yawn. Marsh is now hitting .262
It was hilarious how so many in baseball were giving him superstardom not long ago and now you don't ever hear about him.
But... I thought his hitting coach fixed what the Angels couldn't.

Yup, at 50 from carbon monoxide poison. Faulty pool heater.
Actually he was only 40 and what a messed up death, just sad.

The tennis player Vitas Gerulaitis used to pull all-nighters at Studio 54 and play four-hour matches the next day against Bjorn Borg and Jimmy Connors, while coming down from booze and coke.
They don't make 'em like they used to.
Jimmy Conners beat him 17 times in a row, so that booze and coke might not have the right choice.

It’s a joke. Best player in the game should understand how to adjust to a belt high fastball.
How can he be the best player in the game when he is not even the best player on his team?

Funny enough, off topic but kind of is...
I might be crazy, but so far this year it seems like every time Rendon is out we win
15-15 with him, 7-5 without

Who was the moron that went on and on that Neto wasn't a good choice for leadoff?
It was you, right?
