Sad we wasted one of the better players to ever grace the game on one of the worst run teams in generations, dollar for dollar the Angels are near the bottom.  We need to overhaul the whole system, with baseball minds, something is missing from Triple A to MLB at the very least.

I hear you but it’s turned into a season of why nots. They have to be really concerned about having all streaky hitters like Upton, Pujols and Ohtani in the middle of the lineup all next season. Adell will get better but he’s going to need all of next season to figure it out. Just look at how many teams have advanced to the next competitive level leaving it a virtual stretch for us to get to the postseason next year. There are some really good teams out there and they’re getting better faster. 
40 year old Nelson Cruz has a higher war than Simmons, Adell, Ohtani, Pujols and Upton combined. That’s shameful.

Well we certainly are.  I’m as big of a homer as there is and we have a line up that currently has 5 or 6 guys batting under .200.  Sure Upton and Ohtani have much greater ability than that.  We play fundamentaly poor baseball and we have very few (being kind) guys we feel confident with in the bullpen.
