I'm down with a stadium renewal in the current location, but moving to Tustin would be pretty sweet for us south OC fans.

i'm going to say the next manager comes from outside the organization.
i'm going with joe espada, the astros bench coach. he's strong in analytics and he's coming from a premier franchise in eppler's stated mold.

He has big plans for developing the parking lot but the city wants to see some improvements to the stadium. First he replaced all lights with LED lights (2017).Last year, he upgraded the sound system and video screens.

The good news is that we at least have a good farm system to follow and there's hope around the corner for 2019. 
I think we're going to have a nice offseason as far as trades & FA signings, in addition to most likely getting a new manager.

Glen, there is nothing fresh about this. He is gone. Eppler waited out his contract to placate the owner, now it's Billy's turn to choose his manager. He will not extended Mike Scioscia's contract.

Next Friday I will be going to the Dodger-Astros game at Dodger Stadium.  This will be the first time going there for a game since Bonds was going for 754.  It is a work thing, where a handful of us will be guests in the Coca Cola Suite.  What I found out yesterday is Coke wanted to do something special for us, so they set it up that we will be on the field for batting practice.  I am sure this will be a cool experience that will be some what tempered because it is at Dodger Stadium instead of Angel Stadium, but still a pretty cool thing.  Just thought I would share this little humble brag.

what we needed to be a 90+ win team
- Richards, Heaney, Skaggs, Ohtani, Shoe, Trop, JC Ramirez for a whole season.  2 of 7 so far.  5 of 7 are either out or have hardly pitched.
- no major pen injuries and step up performances from Key, Cam, Johnson and a few others with a couple of surprise performances.  3 of 9 with Parker, Anderson and Alvarez being solid.  
- Valbuena to be what he was last year.  nope
- Cozart to be somewhere between last year and his career.  nope and now he's out
- Kole to be Kole.  nope
-Albert to be the 2016 version.  nope
-Trout to be Trout.  yep
- Kinsler to better than last year.  If you include his defense then yep.  
- Simmons to be Simmons. yep 
-Maldo to hit better with the same defense but also get more breaks from backups.  one no, and one yes.  
- Upton to be Upton.  yep but his performance with RISP has hurt the team very badly.  
- Bench providing a boost.  nope 
- positive contributions from some of the young call ups.  I'll give this a yep considering Anderson and Fletcher.  
About 80% of that needed to happen.  
I would say that we got about 30% of it but the other 70% has not only been worse than needed, but way way worse.   

It has validity because the Angels know a shit load more then we the community at Angelswin.com do.  They know their players. 
Again, maybe their development plan for Taylor Ward doesn’t include rushing him to the majors in a season that we’re 10 or 11 games out in late July.  Maybe it’s that and nothing to do with being in love with Luis Valbuena.

Presumably the team.  I mean do we think the Angels are holding back this awesome ready to go hitter in order keep Luis Valbuena in the line up ? Come on man, you know better then this.
Ward will come up when they think he’s got a shot to contribute.

Being sent to AAA Salt Lake is telling. If a player is coming off the DL and headed back to the lineup they spend two to three days in the 66ers lineup. Salt Lake is a weigh station where guys like Carter end up. 

We have a team with Kinsler, Marte, Valbuena and Kole and we are complaining about Albert.   

Ok, listen up, jackwagons.  You know that it was May 1, and this is Trop's first full season back after TJ surgery, right?  Trop had thrown 88 pitches through 6.1 innings.  It's a long season.  God forbid the manager think ahead and try to save some of his arm for later in the season.
I'm as critical of Sosh as most of the rational people here, but seriously.  It was a non-issue.  STFU about it and get over it.
