I look at it this way:
Having a shitty offense is like being an ugly fat dude (like myself) and trying to pick up chicks all night. No matter how hard you try, no matter what the approach is, you're going to strike the F*ck out. You might get a "Hi" or a quick dance here and there, but it doesn't matter because she ends up being a tranny and you go home depressed and with awkward blue balls.
Having a shitty rotation is exactly like having a shitty offense, only you keep getting hit on by dudes all night. Doesn't matter how loud you yell "I'm not gay!", guys are coming after you hard and fast and there's not a damn thing you can do about it. Eventually you go home, embarrassed and lie in bed and cry all night.
Having a shitty bullpen is like being a sexy dude with six pack abs and loads of cash. You score the hottest chick at the bar that night and bring her home. She wants you, bad. She's all over you. You start Facking her and right as you're about to finish your dad comes in bare-ass naked and rips a monster fart right in your face.
