Looking forward to seeing some Angels-A's games in West Sacramento over the next 3-4 years.  I've been to the stadium there, saw the Bees play.  The smaller stadium reminds me of Tempe and other spring training stadiums.  Only 5 miles from my house too.  Stoked!

Still think that as great as he was, Ohtani was also a bit of a distraction and disruption.
This season begins in late March with more of a team effort possibly.

Maybe if Bauer does get a deal, then spends the next couple decades cleaning up his image before tragically dying in a helicopter accident, he'll be honored in a similar way.

Healthy Trout and Rendon, New manager, Improved starting pitching from Sandoval, Detmers, Canning and any new starter, have Ward back, full year of Moniak, O'Hoppe, Neto and 1B. Plus not having to deal with what's going to happen to Ohtani hanging over Angels head all year. Playing with a chip on their shoulders as everyone counting them out before season starts. Jo Adell becoming player we all thought he was going to be. Rengifo playing like he did in second half for a full year. Always a surprise team in baseball and halos will be that team in 2024. Ninety wins I see 95.

To be completely honest, I am quite glad the David Fletcher story is over here.  I am glad for his modest success and it was a nice story way back when.  But I was done with the automatic optimism that this guy was going to ever return to being a valuable player.
