Sully151 got a reaction from ELEVEN in Most Despised Angels
I remember going to a game as a kid. People in the RF stands started throwing coins at him. He turned around, waved at the fans and picked up every coin and put them in his pocket.

Sully151 got a reaction from ten ocho recon scout in Things to enjoy over the remainder of the season (retrograded to 7/31)
12. The ability to get really good seats really cheap.
13. Getting out of the stadium parking lot will be super easy.
15. No lines for the bathroom or helmet nachos.
It will be just like the 90’s again.

@VictorRojas29 text to Moreno was gold. I am glad he had the balls and the avenue to say what many of us have been thinking.
What were the CJ Wilson comments. I must have missed them.

Sully151 got a reaction from Revad in Fack these @#*&!@'n Losers
I take it we lost game 1.
it’s got to the point where I don’t look at the score, I just read the most recent thread and use my deductive reasoning skills.

Sully151 got a reaction from Angel Oracle in Tonight's game rescheduled. Doubleheader Wednesday
My son just went to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Museum. He said the Godfather exhibit was cool. He also liked the original storyboards from North by Northwest.
We actually go to a lot of museums.

Happy Birthday @jsnpritchett! Hope you were able to find something fun to do… you know, since the museums are closed.

Sully151 reacted to Stradling in Gameday Thread (8/3/23): Mariners @ Angels: Ohtani on the mound, no Drury
This is incredibly stupid.

This game was a lot better when the power was out.

Sully151 got a reaction from Duren, Duren in Ohtani's future contract
Ohtani is making $65 million this year. $35 million from endorsements. Those endorsements aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
How much money does a supposedly humble guy from Japan need? If he goes to the Dodgers or Yankees, those endorsements might go up along with the $50 million contract they would pay, he could make $100 million a year. That’s just crazy.
I love watching him play, but am torn over whether the Angels should sign him. If they only win one WS over the course of his contract, is it worth it?
I think this season has been tough on the team. They are all playing too hard, putting more pressure on winning in order to resign Ohtani than I think they usually would. I am sure it is an air of stress over the heads of everyone in the organization.
Like I said, I love watching him play, but I also like watching an entire team that is playing well.

Sully151 got a reaction from Slegnaac in If Trout is out for the year, I'm trading Ohtani
Oh Oh, I know this one…
Half as much as a GIDP.

Sully151 got a reaction from ArkyAngelsFan in If Trout is out for the year, I'm trading Ohtani
I think Perry and Arte need to sit down with Ohtani and see what he wants. Maybe he wants to stay where he started and finish out his contract. Maybe he doesn’t want to leave his teammates via trade. Maybe he does. Maybe he wants to carry the team.
Arte always seemed like a player’s owner. I would assume there is some relationship built where these discussions can, or have taken place.

Sully151 got a reaction from ten ocho recon scout in What was your very first job? (from GubiTuesday's feature last night)
Juggler.
I was 14 and some company hired me to stand on a street corner and juggle to advertise their business. They paid like $10 an hour.
Then people started throwing change and dollar bills from their cars. So I timed the lights, worked up a routine and would juggle for like 45 seconds, then run through the street “passing the hat”.
I would make $300-400 a weekend.
It only lasted a month or two before the cops put an end to it.

There are no Exit Velo or Launch Angle stats for a bunt, so why do it?

Sully151 got a reaction from Angel Oracle in Dodger hate
When I was a little kid, my favorite TV show was The Brady Bunch. I was hot for Marcia. The show ran in reruns on channel 11 at 5:00. When the Dodgers played away games, they were broadcast on channel 11. That meant no Brady Bunch. No Marcia.
Fuck the Dodgers.
